The congregations of the Michigan Conference live, work, minister, and relate to one another in six geographical areas called Associations, namely:

Covenant Association -- the middle section of the lower peninsula, south of Clare and north of Indiana

Detroit Metropolitan Association -- the southeast section of the lower peninsula

Eastern Association -- the thumb section of the lower peninsula

GrandWest Association --  the central section of the western lower peninsula

Southwest Association -- the southwest section of the lower peninsula, from I-69 to Lake Michigan

United Northern Association -- from where the great woods begin in Clare north to and including the upper peninsula.

Clicking on the name of an Association will take you to the roster of churches, a listing of officers, and contact information for that Association, as well as to any news that Association has placed on this website.  

In the rosters, congregations with websites are underlined and clicking on the name of an underlined congregation will transport you to its individual website.

Note: In the listing of congregations, "Schedule 1" churches either have not voted or have abstained from voting on becoming part of the United Church of Christ.  "Schedule 2" churches have voted not to be part of the UCC, but remain in fellowship with the Association in their geographical area.
