We are all called to ministry. Each of us
has gifts, known or yet to be discovered, to use in furthering the
mission of Christ's Church.
S.T.E.M.
was founded in 1982 to help members of DOC and UCC churches discover and
develop their gifts for leadership and service. Students are
challenged to reflect on their faith, to be open to new insights and
perspectives, and to claim their ministry roles as part of the Body of
Christ.
S.T.E.M has two program
tracks:
The tuition for the Core program is $75 per course, which would
be $375 each year for 5 Core courses.
Tuition for the Licensed Ministry Program also is $75 per course, which
would be $450 each year for 6 Licensed Ministry courses. Housing
and meals are extra. Any costs for elective hours are borne by the student.
Students are encouraged to seek scholarships from their local churches and
their association or region. UCC students in Covenant association are
encouraged to apply to the Elvira Vogel Fund.
If you are wondering if S.T.E.M. is right for you, you are
welcome to take one core class or several classes of interest to you without
entering the program. Individual class tuition is $75 each.
