Anne
McCauslin began work as the STEM Dean on March 15, 2005.
A graduate
of Michigan State University and the Wayne State University
Law School, Anne practiced law for ten years before entering
the Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, where she was
granted Master of Divinity Equivalency and has completed all
class work for her Doctor of Ministry degree.
Anne is an active member of
Central Woodward Christian Church (Disciples of Christ),
where she serves as Vice President of Ministry of Nurture,
overseeing and managing program development in the areas of
education, worship, fellowship, and care. Additionally, she
serves of the director of that congregation's LOGOS program
and as a church elder. Anne also serves as the
Coordinator for the South Oakland Homeless Shelter.
As the
Dean, Anne is the staff resource person with leadership
responsibility for the Systematic Training for Effective
Ministries Program -- a joint project of the Michigan Region
of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the
Michigan Conference of the United Church of Christ.
STEM provides for
general lay-leadership training as well as education leading
to possible service as a Licensed Minister.
